About Us
The Travel Insurance Claims Committee (TICC) is the voice of the UK’s travel insurance claims sector. We represent a number of the travel industry's leading names and specialist providers.
The TICC was formed in 1995 and is funded by our members’ subscriptions on a not-for-profit basis. Our members include most of the household name insurers as well as a number of specialist travel insurance providers. All of our members agree to act according to our codes of conduct.
We work closely with the ABI, regulators, consumer organisations and Financial Ombudsman Service on behalf of our members, to agree and streamline operating procedures helping ensure that this key area of insurance is trusted by customers.
